    Hi everyone,

Thanks for all the constructive and non-constructive comments :).

I would like to point out that this is not a commercial/client project where I force you to read, understand and like the design. It's a personal exploration where I was trying a few new things visually, more so, the new layout scale and animation features in ReadyMag platform. Sometimes I need to experiment a little on the side in order to learn some "new tricks" that I can later incorporate into my work.

I am not promoting this project, nor saying "Look at this design! This is how you do it." Note, that I was not the one who even posted it on DN.

OK so I guess you don't mind people scolding the project for being totally "no no no" in terms of UX / UI / design in general. I accept your comment and I hope you accept mine.

Accept insulting comment ? Do you even know what this guy did for UI/UX design overall if not I'd suggest you to google his name, I grew up following his works in design and I bet not only me. Objective criticism is totally cool but insulting person is not.

I don't see the point. So what? Why are you trying to project your negative energy in a personal manner towards me? It's like you are not even the person whom I am addressing. Please piss off from me.

WTF is that design? What kind of moron forced such colors? I wasn't even able to read it. Is this some kind of new hipster thing to create such color settings? Same with the dropbox landing page. Completely awful, idiotic, illegible.

Ah yeah the usual "muh ux" "muh wheres my standard web experience "muh ux terms" "muh bootstrap website" designernews comment. Completely awful, idiotic, illegible, worthless pile of shit comment. What kind of moron forced you to write this comment?

Just stop being such pitiful creatures and accept the diversity & different stuff. 90% of the web is boring anyway with gazillions of low standard "websites". You don't need to love it but if you don't have anything constructive to say, don't say anything at all. We need to destroy this bashing mindset of late 2015 against creativism.

This site become such a wack place.

An equally inappropriate, and rather scathing reply. We need to destroy this bashing mindset on DesignerNews against other peoples opinions.

Oh the irony. Read his comment and then my comment again. I just repeated exactly what he wrote. Of course it is scathing. Smh

"Accept diversity" read like a leftist moron's point of view (if he/she is capable of any). I know you might know nothing about design but please hold from attacking me personally.

I feel like it is your comment that is idiotic. If you don't like it, argument. Maybe it was made by a junior designer wanting some advice…. Your attitude is demeaning, un-helpful and shameful !

      • Marek LMarek L, over 5 years ago

It was not made by a junior. There is really no need for argument when my eyes hurt looking at it.

I am way too professional to say "I don't like it". It just breaks so many rules of UX, UI, design in general, good practices of this, that, rules of gestalt, etc. that it's just awful. Of course, for those of you who don't know shit about design - this might be appealing.

If your definition of being way too professionial is to insult people, why not, it's your choice.

Oh, typical leftist BS: you search the internet for the person and mock the persons face / hair / anything just to be on top. WOW. Great.

persons face / hair ? It's your designs bro. Looks like shit and you talk about professionalism. And what the fuck are you talking about "leftism" like what?

          Well this is embarrassing:

Listen...Your work is garbage. Your work breaks rules of UX/UI by being amature, boring, and ugly as hell. Yet you somehow think you are the arbitor of good taste? Look at your own work. It’s bland as cardboard. Please sit down and rework your entire design portfolio. It’s clear you have designer envy.

Wait... since when did we start talking about me? I don't post stuff here waiting for your feedback (and of course this feedback would be positive as you have to accept "diversity" and can't comment on others, right?). And of course, you know the environment I work in, right? You know the context, etc. Anyway - it's not about me. At least, I don't have such idiotic designs as mixing rules and creating something that kills eyes.

I think it’s pretty creative, as it was designed.

First look at the visuals and I fully expect to see Repponen in the footer.

The overall design and colors aren't my taste, but the animations are clever. It works. It affectively communicates the information it set out to.

If you don't like the design (I don't), explain without calling the designer stupid. And if you disagree, say so without calling the other person stupid. What I'm saying is: Can we just be constructive and avoid being hostile?

Man some people are unnecessarily angry about this haha. Cool site. I'm not a fan of the colours but whatevs. Everything else is pretty cool.

Very unusual article, it's interesting that all most important inventions look like this to your mind :) It took place someday, but as for me I'm happy that for now website design changed a lot. I like UX design for example like this one: https://fuselabcreative.com/the-role-of-graphic-designers-in-the-healthcare-industry/ It's much more attractive and good-looking than most of other styles.

I think it is excellent. It is nice to land on a site that smacks you around the chops and makes you work to engage with it. This is design - not UX or UI design. The colours have to be confrontational, see Saul Bass or Paul Rand. It is great, ignore the stick!
