    I'm confused as an Affinity Designer user/lover, why would I buy this when I can do print work in Designer. Unless Publisher will have more auto layout options like text columns etc.

    As a big InDesign user, excited to see this product evolve. With that being said, did anything in that video wow anyone else... feature wise? Totally understand it's a sneak-peek. Still hopeful!

      i didn't see anything wow me. but i am keen to move away from adobe totally and indesign was the only program i still needed from them....

      I noticed two things. First, a vertical text box rule. I saw that a rule was created vertically and set to the outside left of the text frame. So, you would do that instead of drawing a separate vertical rule. I don't think InDesign has that.

      Second, did you notice that the effects filter on the photo was "live"? Instead of having to select Multiply or Screen or Overlay individually to view one at a time, you slide over each selection and the change is immediate and "live". Now that is cool.
