To bad, i was not there. But the great people of Yummygum were at the demo of Invision's Studio in Amsterdam.

I was there! It had such a great vibe and left feeling very positive about Studio. Here are my general impressions.
It looks exactly like Sketch (except with dark mode support)
it appears they moved away from the more rubost prototyping/animation tool (with timelines and code editors) that they showed in Motion to something more restricted with predefined actions.
It’s free for all users including Enterprise ( something that should give Sketch and Adobe headache)
No version control yet
No talk of plugins
No talk of how animation will be shared. Will it require a plugin etc.?
Thanks for the extra info. Free for paying users? Of free for the world?

Won't you need to have an Invision account, either free or paid? Not that it's a problem for anyone to create a free account :)
Little addition; the guy also said they will support sketch file format
When you say "Free for everyone", are there any limits to this? As in, I can create an account, but in this free account can I only have X number of projects with Y artboards?
The didnt go into detail into what “Free” really means but they said Free for individuals, teams and enterprise.
My assumption is that it will be free as stated but you’ll atill pay for sharing prototypes as it currently is.
Was also there last night. Talked to the engineer that worked on motion. The plays are to implement that timeline like way of motion design in the tool aswell. But it will be in a later version. Also plugins is something a team is working atm.
Cool! Offline support? That's really the only thing holding me back from Figma...
Not really, seems maybe if your internet drops for a second you’ll be ok — “While we don’t offer a full offline experience at this time, any files you currently have open in the desktop app can be edited while you're offline. When you're back online the changes you made should sync. However, you won't be able to import any files if you are not currently online.”
How to symbol overrides work? Can you edit in place?
It works a lot like Figma does it. So you have a master component and you can override everything of the components. So also color and stuff. But if you want to edit the master component you have to "enter" the symbol. So editing in place and then you can apply those styles to the master or edit the master directly.
What about plugins? I like the way Sketch can be improved with plugins.
I remember they said at the initial NYC event that it'll support plugins
