    Would love some feedback on this. I'm a front-end developer, not a designer, so any tips on UX/design would be great. Code repository is here for anyone interested.

      Love the colors and contrast. Also the timer. I will try using this tomorrow @work. Meanwhile, I have some feedback for the layout and user-flow

      Why do you need 4 buttons upfront all the time?

      Suggestion:

      Upon clicking start [Start ] > [Pauce] [Finish]

      Upon clicking pause [Pauce ][ Finish] > [Resume ][ Finish]

      Upon clicking finish [Start again]

      And cancel comes in the left block on top of the task unit as cancel (X) button may be?

      The timer on counting, moves it's position when the character width increases. You could solve this by using a monospace typeface. Or using the CSS to make sure the unit doesn't move it's position when the width increases.

    So cool! This is very neat, especially for quick time tracking since I have no time tracking tool I could use at work. The only thing I noticed at first is that I tried to unpause the task by clicking Pause again. And then noticed that I can only unpause by clicking Start. Otherwise veeeery helpful. Thanks!

    That's really nice man. One thing that strikes me as strange is the tracker is on the right side, so the left side (where western readers' eyes first go) is an empty panel, but it makes sense when there is a completed task in there. Maybe with the tracker centre it vertically in the div, it looks a bit weird up in the top on a 27" imac. These are just tiny critiques though, overall its very good.

    edit - there may be a better way to split the two screens too. The white divider line is at odds with the rest of the (very nice) visual language of this app/website

      Good point, maybe I should switch the layout around... Will look into it.

      The white divider should be gone now, thanks for that - didn't appear on Chrome/OS X

          Hmm, might be a caching issue - there's a service worker installed for offline support so clearing that cache (dev tools -> application -> clear storage) might solve the problem

    I really like it, and it's got the makings of a nice product.

    Some suggestions:

    • Ability to export the finalised timesheet as a .csv etc would be very handy - this could provide very rapid Xero integration for instance

    • Ability to add tasks to the list, without immediately starting them. I'd be the sort of user who would write out a dozen tasks to start the day off, and then progress through them.

    • Ability to stop and change tasks. Quite often I'd be working on one thing, then get interrupted in order to tackle another bug etc - but then will want to switch back over to it. It seems so far you can only keep adding new tasks, instead of resuming a current one?

    Otherwise, I really like the UI design. Nice work!

    Is it just me (= my privacy browser plugins …) or are the numbers on clock aligned on the right so that numbers move ever so slightly almost every second (this would be easily fixable by centering the text/numbers)?
