This is great! If I have one suggestion it would be to use the naked domain (without www.). You can set up redirection so that any link including the www. gets it removed (aka redirected). ;)

I've been wanting to learn React and these fancy new JS frameworks, so this looks great!

Excellent. The illustrations are top work, and really complement the tutorial. Great work on the analogies, you've clearly put a lot of work into this and it shows – there is clarity in thinking, and clarity in the structure of the story you're telling.

I for one would enjoy more of these posts.
