Not a fan of the extended headline font.

I agree. I appreciate that it's a little different which may be valuable from a branding perspective. I don't think it's ultimately worth it - it gives me low-level anxiety when looking at their designs.

I thought my browser was rendering incorrectly at first.

It looks like it doesn't work particularly well for the screen, despite their digital-first approach.

Because horizontal/vertical thickness in letters of heavier weights is at an almost 1:1.5 ratio. If they stuck with 1:1, that would've been alleviated.

The triangles in their 'play' buttons are spaced wrongly - they look mathematically centered but to the eye they def look off

That wider than wide eurostile sans they're using for their headlines... make it stop.

Weird. Looks the same to me. I'm thinking they maybe just formalized some of the stuff they have been doing over the past couple years their magazine, etc.

It seems like the hairline iconography wouldn't be the best choice for vehicle interfaces. This almost seems like it was created during iOS 7 and is finally seeing the light of day.

Looks like they have copied the Material Design Guide, sort of...

In what way(s)? This feels fairly unique to Audi, in my opinion.

I was refering to the structure of illustrations regarding do's and don'ts of the interface section.

Was Material Design the first time you saw design guidelines documention?

(not trying to be sarcastic, I'm sure since MD got so much press it was the first time many people encountered design guidelines since they're usually internal corporate docs).
