I've been offered to take a project but they've stated that payment is an issue. It's an interesting project - a not yet funded startup of second hand clothing - although they have a tiny "contract" that says that if I work and they end up NOT using my design, then I'll get paid. It's a weird agreement but I could use a new project from zero to hero in my portfolio. They are open for a new agreement for both parties to have a "warranty" on this, but I'm unsure. Have you ever had an issue like this? How have you solved it?
