I really like the visual design. You also keep the story telling pattern on all subpages with great attention to detail. The only thing: why you stick main navigation to bottom? This might appear very unusual for most users.

Why did you go with the .is tld?
I kept trying to buy mo.tel but it wouldn't go through. Plus you can do fun naming conventions after .is

Visualizated is 100% not a word. Nice layout though!

Brennan Smith, almost 7 years ago Interesting but not a very well known pattern by users. It took me way too long to find the navigation since it is at the bottom and close to the same color as the background.
Brian Rosenfield, almost 7 years ago I noticed that the homepage itself is essentially the navigation in story form. I can see the rational for the navigation bar being secondary to the content of the page in that case.
