Apparently, not any time soon. Sales rep was very "on script" in regard to this being only a Business feature- which requires a minimum of 5 user licenses.
I am so super bummed about this.

On the first load the animation doesn't seem to be loading quickly enough to seem responsive. If you load the page and don't move the mouse or anything the animation never triggers. However if you leave the page, scroll, etc it triggers.
Account deleted 6 years ago This is similar to odrive, except that you're not locked in to Dropbox. It also works for Google Drive, S3, OneDrive etc...

Meh… I prefered the deprecated feature of being able to hotlink images directly (without Dropbox’s UI getting in the way). I could send a design screenshot, and the client would get a feel for the UI. Example: https://dl.dropboxusercontent.com/u/48552248/websites/alexcican/images/work/mailer/desktop-inbox.jpg
I could also create static websites as well. Will probably cancel my Dropbox account when this gets disabled permanently…

You can just take the current share url and change the ending of "?dl=0" into "?dl=1" and it will create a direct link to the file, without the preview site.
