new features look handy, but literally the only improvement to their core service i want is a .dbignore
It seems to me the "learn more" link is a bad solution. You need to point the cursor to the link and click if you want see some additional information. Well I think most people just wil not see that information.
All research I've seen agrees with you. Any content within a carousel, accordion, or likewise is rarely seen. Users fly through pages and sites and don't fixate long enough to even notice these interactions.

I don't see it either, but here's a partial screenshot from the announcement on Dribbble.
Looks nice and simple, the dropbox text collapsing to the logo is a nice touch. The Paper and Smart Sync pages are a lot more interesting.
If there are any dropbox people on here: I'm getting non-retina "Learn More" icons (the + in a circle)
