I am juggling the concept of changing ecosystems. I am a mac user (web designer and graphic designer). I need a new laptop. The new MBP are disappointing; windows are becoming interesting/more value for money.
I am worried about losing the terminal. I don't use it a lot but enough. What has been your web development experience on Windows?

Have you always been a windows user?
I have, mostly. I used Macs all the way up until college (late 90s/early 2000s), and then worked primarily on PCs running Windows (or Linux, in some cases).

No problemo! To clarify it further, the Windows environment is just fine for web development. Windows 10 doesn't have a proper terminal, but Console is free and gives you a fully-functional command line interface. Take Command is a pretty good CLI tool as well, and it has a 30-day free trial.
Oh that's awesome. Good to know there are some alternatives to getting those tasks done.
