Just relaunched my portfolio. Let me know if you have any feedback below, or give me a heads up if you spot anything odd.

The previous design served me for 5 years and is archived here: http://2011.nunocoelhosantos.com/

This new design showcases a more selected range of work and goes in more depth with the process. Thanks everyone ✌️

I love when portfolios show sketches, wireframes, notes, code, and final designs all in one place. It is far more human.

I love the little "show columns" easter egg at the bottom!

From all angles—visuals, UX, content, development—this is the best portfolio I've seen in quite awhile. The hand-written elements are a really nice touch and I like the narrative focus, everything being on one page. Really solid work!

If you're interested in full-time work, I'm a product designer at Dropbox and we'd love to have more talent like yours on board. Happy to chat if you're curious to learn more. :)

Hey Nuno, just like the others said: Outstanding work, take my upvote! I'm curious: What handwritten font did you use?

    Thanks a lot!

Thanks Sebastian. I scanned my own handwriting for those titles.

The original idea was to scan post-its with the challenges and goals written on them. When we design products we all define and vote on those challenges in post-its, so it felt like the most familiar way to present them. But the post-its looked terrible on the design, so I scanned just the text.

I really like the simplicity of just being able to scroll down and see each project one by one. No need to click in to anything! I've also loved the ustwo branding for awhile, great work all round.

Well done! I have a couple suggestions:

    — What if you add a fixed top bar to keep me in context of which case study I'm seeing? It could also be useful to go back to the top to your contact details. The page is a bit long vertically and something like this could help.

    — Perhaps you could use different font sizes in the extended version of your bio. That way could gradually engage me into reading it and not look like a bunch of text.

    Great work!

      Thanks Javier!

      Those are good points.

About the fix bar, it was a bit of an unconscious decision. I wanted to make it feel like flicking through pretty pictures in a book or reading a presentation. The titles aren't really titles. Getting lost in the long scroll is ok. I didn't want any big buttons or layers. Just type and layout conveying all the hierarchy. Many of us look at so much interface that conveys information everyday that it's nice to see something purely conversational and focused on content.

About the bio, I totally agree and I think I will change it. I want to make the text shorter, add a photo, and add smaller paragraphs with more of my background.
