Inbbbox for Dribbble has launched

We've just launched Inbbbox – a new open-source iOS client for Dribbble.

On top of the usual Dribbble activity ou can make use of gesture-based interaction and full support for 3D Touch,night mode for the comfort of eyes. App is available in English, German, French, Portuguese, Spanish, and Polish.

    Looks really good! I'm actually excited about this because I've been looking for a Dribbble app that would allow me to very easily scroll (or swipe) though a bunch of images, much like Instagram or Imgur. I've tried a bunch of apps and found that only the mobile site has close to this experience.

    A few thoughts:

    • I'm guessing the default is just popular. It would be great to get the list from who you're following (perhaps I missed this).
    • The left/right swipe seems pretty sensitive. Several times when I wanted to just like something, I ended up adding it to a bucket. Perhaps double-tap to like (as in Instagram) would be easier. Or just having a like/comment icon, particularly since the icons are already there below the image, just not interactive.
    • GIFs don't seem to be loading well for me. They just get stuck at the loading animation, which I actually thought was a Dribbble shot the first time rather than a loading interstitial.

    Anyhow, great v1!

      Thanks Darren for your insights - and feedback, it is welcome and very helpfull

      a) You can adjust your stream in the settings By default all sources are enabled https://monosnap.com/file/FsJydVxTmJbla90pWZ9wv0SWODIU5A - we are tracking how often users are using settings to adjust their stream, what are the choices and in the future if necessary we will adjust default settings to match the most common scenario.

      b) Thats something we have and will work on - we are beyond just implementing feature and we spent some time polishing deadzones, active areas etc but as you notice this is something that needs to be improved. We ware quite intensively testing this feature & implementation for a couple of months and this something that indeed requires some proficiency & feel. We observed this comes quickly after using app for some time. Clickable icons below the shots are on our development pipeline atm ;)

    Fantastic take on dribbble client. I really like the swipes gestures, but like Darren, I find them too sensitive. Few times I ended up unintentionally following people. Also, I would love to be able to adjust stream source without going into settings. Sorting would be great too ;) I've tried a few dribbble clients before (Zeeen, ballin') and I must admit that Inbbbox gives me better experience ;) I would gladly pay for this.

    btw, How come this has been taken off the DN top page?

    Delightful app! Congrats, dude :)

    Only thing that is REALLY bugging me is localization. I'd love to be able to change the language, since its Portuguese translation is embarrassingly bad. It looks like a mix of European and Brazilian Portuguese — it's just weird and very hard to understand some phrases.

    I'm not even asking for a good Brazilian Portuguese localization. If I could change the language to English, I'd be 100% happy :)

    Hmm, anyone else not able to get past the sign in screen? I enter my Dribbble u/p but nothing happens. The page just reloads. I confirmed I'm using the right password as I'm able to sign in with it in Mobile Safari. I do have some special characters in my password, wonder if that's creating the problem...
