My manager looked into upgrading to an invision enterprise account so we could get inspect but it cost way too much for us sadly. We use Zeplin at my company which apparently works out a lot cheaper for us at least.

Looks amazing from what I've seen though!

Inspect is going to be available for all account types soon.

Just Enterprise while it's in Beta, so just hold tight :-)

It's working on my Professional plan at the moment. Curious to see where they go with it and how it compares to Avocode.

Hey Leanne- it no longer requires Enterprise account (that was just during beta rollout). Would love to have y'all give it a go and let us know what you think. :)

On the same argument with this. We've been using InVisionApp Enterprise for almost 2 years. And the pricing increases as you add more people (creator).

It's a mix to me. Glad that this can be helpful for designer-developers, but if we have to add more developer to be able to inspect every prototype we've built and it leads to increased pricing it may not that useful to us.

While I love to see this finally coming to inVision, I've been long time ago using Zeplin. The same features other apps like Zeplin offers can be achieved over time by inVision, but I no longer like how slow this app is. I get constant errors every time I work with Hotspots. Comments don't work right. Replacing / adding a new screen sometimes return "error". Someone could say it's because I don't have a great internet connection speed, but I've heard the same things from people in Canada, USA, etc.

Zeplin might not be perfect (yet) but it's so lightweight it looks more like how things should be and work: fast, reliable.

I'm at a point where I don't feel attracted anymore by inVision. I know this is not how many people feel but if they don't address these issues they might end up losing users that used to love the app.

Oh Nicolas- what a bummer to hear. Going to reach out now and see if we can make life better and learn from any mistakes we've made along the way with your journey. Chat more shortly!

I've been waiting for this since they previewed a while ago, stayed away from getting too tied to Zeppelin. They must be pissed they've integrated it straight into Invision (which must have about 40-50% of the commercial UI design community wrapped up). Let's hope they build on this with their proposed UI animation tool https://dribbble.com/shots/2260235-Motion-advanced-animations-and-interactions

This is big news. I don't think enough people understand how much the Invision Sync plugin + Inspect changes the game.

How? Can you expand? We use Zeplin, which is working fairly well for us, albeit with a few bugs.

      So. Should we switch?

More than this, Zeplin offers Android/iOS (Swift) code on the go. For what I see now, Inspect offers just some CSS. More than that, there's no support for PS....and lastly for Windows based users, while Zeplin has all of this.

If you use invision and sketch, Invision sync will do it all in two clicks:

        • add your new art boards to invision for PM/dev/marketing review
        • add the assets to invision assets folders
        • give developers the ability to inspect it

one ring to rule them all.

personally that's all i need with the companies i work with, and since we already use invision, it saves me a lot of time delivering the art boards and instructions after finishing a project.

The Craft plugin / panel seems to be broken in the latest version of Sketch (41)... Anyone else having this problem?

Oh man, I really liked Zeplin! Hopefully, this doesn't kill too much of their business.

Maybe I'm doing something wrong - but I don't seem to be able to get past the "Sync your source files" screen - even though the artboard in question has been synced from Sketch using the Craft plugin. Anyone else having that problem?

Candid anecdote; my hair stands on end whenever the term "pixel-perfect" takes the stage.

Great to be able to try this finally!

Does anyone know how you share this with someone? Does the developer I'm sharing it with need to have an InVision account? If that's so, it's a bit problematic for me because I'm a freelancer and I work with lots of different companies.

I am current paying customer on the Professional Plan.

I was logged into my account, opted into the Enterprise Trial.

Got a dialogue that says to check my email. Still nada.

Looks nice though, but not a very gratifying "magic" experience.

This is cool. I'd be interested explore a few things:

    • Spacing between elements - while this tells you have far things are, it doesn't seem to consider the relationship between things. EX: You have some text 100px below a button. This can be achieved many ways and looks like Sketch/Invision/Inspect do not take line-height into considerations.

    • Pixel Perfect != Grouping, element relationships. Basically that most things at this point have relationships with one another vs a hard stop, curious how this helps us discuss designs in a fluid context vs just a static design file handoff.

How can we share this to developers? Is there a share option for inspect?

    PERFECT!

My agency mostly works with dev teams so their product person can approve screens and developers can start working on those without us updating zeplin. Looks like Im going to wait for few months since zeplin is working good for us atm.

We've been using this in Beta for a couple of months now. Inspect is finally at a usable state. Keeping the discussion, iteration, and handoff processes between our Design and Engineering teams to one platform has been a fantastic experience so far. Speed improvements have really made it worth its while and now Sync also supporting Inspect'able artboards is a game changer.

Will we soon be able to design directly in invision?
