That's unlikely - I spoke to them about a year back about this and they said it's too easy for them to stick with the default mac os UI to consider adding a dark mode or making any changes to the interface. Icons are easy to change - those are just PNGs, but the overall interface, not so much. The only hope for a dark mode is if Apple ever implements it.

I find their description of the use case for nested overrides confusing. Can someone who get's it explain what it does or why it's helpful?
1 symbol (A) that has a tonne of other symbols (B) (C) (D) nested within it.
Each one of those symbols (B) (C) (D) has numerous variations to them, e.g. Default (B1), Hover (B2), Active (B3).
Rather than duplicating (A) and manually changing the versions of (B), I can now duplicate (A) and select from the Inspector Panel which version of (B) I'd like.
Massive time saver and great for quick variations of screen states.
E.g. In an android app I could make a nav bar with several Material design icons in it as sub symbols. With this Nav bar symbol I can now use it on other screens by swapping out the material design icons (or turn them off by going to a blank symbol called 'icon off')

Yes, imo the color used in icon toolbar is a bit too bright on my screen (Mb Pro Retina)

With every version Sketch is slower and slower, but has more features. It takes me several minutes to open up a document with lots of artboards, before 3.5. I could have a file twice the size and it opened up immediately. Cannot even listen to music, because everytime I zoom in our out on a document, the music glitches.

If its when you listen to music in chrome, it sounds like your ram is limited. Try using google ultron to download more: http://ultronbrowser.io/
How many artboards are you loading? (on average) Anything particularly complex about your projects? (ie. large amounts of symbols) What hardware are you using?
I can say that I've got some pretty large projects, and I haven't seen any noticeable slowdown.
Barely any symbols (2-3 maybe?). I used to have up to 100 artboards, with tons of images and it worked flawlessly. It now starts to slow down after only 30 or something. It doesn't matter if it's all vector for example. I even cleaned up my fonts to have a really limited set available and enable ones I need, when I need them. It's a mac mini (late 2014, 16gb of ram, 512gb ssd to a Dell 3415").

I was having the same issue but it was Craft causing the extremely slow loading times.
No craft, although I use some other plugins for pie charts and filling random content from time to time, but I had them before.

Very much doubt it's the same people working on those two areas, so no dev resources have been wasted on icons and UI.

"Paste with style" is not working for me -- anyone else?
They finally fixed Fullscreen mode! Before there was a bug where drilling down into a symbol in fullscreen could cause the app to crash. You couldn't use Zeplin, Runner or anything else. But now it is perfect!
Also nested symbol overides looks like it could have massive potential to shift how we build symbols.

This version, or maybe even previous one, misses Organize Symbols menu under Symbols. How are we supposed to organize our symbols now?

Alignment finally works. My OCD is thoroughly quelled. Might not jump ship just as quickly.
The text box selection bugs also appear to be gone.
