As someone who is finally about to try out Sketch, this is pretty damn nice.

Same for me. Working on my 8 year old MBP made it impossible to use Sketch until now. But with my new one, I need a new tool. Sketch/Adobe xDesign or (later) Subform) will be my choice.

What if I don't feel like it? Guess I'm not a real boy designer.

This was my attitude for a long time. Stop telling me what tools to use, I'd say, frustrated at the 18th 'why you should use sketch' article I'd seen that week.

I'm a successful designer - I have a good job, people constantly trying to hire me, I've worked for some of the biggest tech companies on the planet, I don't need some random dude telling me that I'm using the wrong tools.

Then, one day, I thought 'fuck it, let's try it'. I've not looked back since. It's a great tool. It's got absolutely nothing to do with being a 'real designer', it's all about using a tool that makes your life easier.

Yep, I hear you. I've worked with it on a couple of projects and continually have massive performance issues with it, even with a decked out 5k iMac, so I can only deduce it's not for me.

I agree. It's disappointing there are so many glaring performance issues when the "bloated" pieces of software most transition from work reliably.

Perhaps I should have switched a year ago and then I'd overlook the issues.
