Also, I'd expect that its car wouldn't necessarily be a personal car but a shared one, so it would be more about efficiency than just another car on the road. I'd like them to follow the same strategy they've taken with their laptops. So, in the same way the Macbook now has a solitary port, I'd like the car to have just one door. I mean, let's face it, who really needs more than one door, it's just unnecessary and ruins the form factor.

Serious answer: Absolutely do not trust Apple's software with my life, wouldn't consider buying a car from them.

And now to answer your question. First. I'll admit I ordered a model 3 and I can't wait for the next 2 hours to pass to see what they announce for the interior. I hope this is the announcement Tesla does. :-)

So Apple's car has this super awesome company competing with, who's goal is to bring every player to the electric world, and I hope they make it. So it means it will be a future of multiple contenders for our garages, with a purchase every 5-10 years or so. This means I wouldn't be purchasing an Apple Car, but if I were interested, it should have:

1. A similar performance quality to what Tesla has on the car hardware side (speed, excellent car handling, safety)
2. Better battery :) and free charging - they cannot compete with this I think
3. Obviously an amazing design with a similar visual style to what we're expecting from Apple.
4. Beautiful OS inside, opened up to the App Store and synched with all apple devices and services we already use (Tesla cannot compete here)

I am pretty sure it won't have windows ;)
