How do you keep your Sketch Plugins up-to-date?

I was wondering how you guys update your sketch plugins.

My approach I have all my plugins cloned from github. And then I use a small command line tool called gitup to pull the latest updates.

Do have a simpler way? I thought that I could design and develop an app for that. Something like Sketch Plugin Manager.

    I know this thread is old, but I believe is still relevant to those who stumble upon it from searching.

    I'd like to recommend Sketchpacks, a macOS app that lets you manage and sync your Sketch plugins across machines and teams.

    I just don't install them. :)

    I'll occasionally temporarily install a plugin to perform a specific task (import / export colors for example), or roll a simple one myself, but it's just not worth the hassle to manage updates for a half dozen or more plugins.

    Not to mention that lately plugins break so often between versions (even if temporary) that I prefer to not rely on them.

    I'm using Sketch Toolbox - I only bother checking if they've been updated until they stop working.. I much prefer your method though

    Keeping plugins updates is a problem for me too and I rarely look to find updated versions unless it stops working with a Sketch update.

    An app would be the perfect solution. Something that just does what Sketch Toolbox set out to do.

    It's awesome you've got something that works for you though!

    I am currently updating my plugins the same way. I've also got an alias for it. Works well enough for me!

    You probably know Sketch Toolbox? It exactly what you're searching for, but sadly it seems like it isn't maintained anymore.

    Currently I'm checking my plugins by hand from time to time. Good tip btw!

      Yeah, I know Sketch Toolbox. But the update function never worked for me. Plus I never knew which ones were updated. If any.

        I have had Toolbox on my machine for ages, but updating my plugins manually (this way I'm constantly forced to look at my plugins and asses their usefulness). But I just fired up Toolbox again for the first time in a while, readded my fav plugins... and now nothing works.

        We seriously need a tool to fix this issue. It is something I hope Bohemian Coding is actively working on, as a browser / installer / updater built into the tool itself would be a godsend.
