There are so many awesome things that I see created using AfterEffects which are not that easy to replicate when it comes to the web, which is why I created this.

I work in-house, meaning our corporate branding and style-guides have been set for quite a while.

This doesn't mean I don't need inspiration; it's just a different type of inspiration.

As such, I most often find myself using Google images.

What I do, is I look for UI patterns, and solutions to certain issues, in a larger way. Taking in the various options, you try to discern what works and what doesn't, and use all of that information to come up with a solution that's better than the sum of what's there.

Or that's ideally how it goes ;)

Of course I don't avoid any of the other sites mentioned by so many here. I just thought it worth to mention this great tool that's right in front of us, for in my experience, a lot of designers don't use it as such.

Most digital/web design sites tend to be a bit echo-chamber-y; a bit insular and given to trends.

I really like browsing through It's Nice That when I need to recharge my inspiration batteries.
