Everything is too big. Especially the text and cursor.

Gives me anxiety and I bounce.

If you have a sec, I'd love to hear more about why it makes you anxious so I can try to address

The text is cumbersome and huge. Everything looks like and h1. I have to move my head back in order to read it. Form follows function. That being said it does indeed look cool. But it's a website, not a billboard.

I like the cursor a lot. Gives it a minimal/old school type of feel, but I think it is also too large.

I still really like the site's feel. I think by adjusting the text/cursor size it would be even better. Not trying to be rude. Since it's early in the morning I am not in the mood to sugar coat anything. So this might appear as a blunt response.

Of course it's your site so you can do whatever you please with it.

I agree on all points. Cursor is too large, the text could be brought down a little in size. However it looks good!

I love the feel of the site. That said, I found the navigation a bit troublesome as well. I do like the directness of jumping straight into the projects, but found myself too often scrolling down and then up to get the top menu to appear.

Not sure I love or hate the giant cursor. It surely adds personality, but at the same time it's so annoying.

Other than that, nice work! It could use some navigation, though — combined with giant text, it makes going through the page a bit cumbersome.

A few people have said the site is slightly obnoxious and they can't decide if they like this about it. Definitely was not intentional, but really interesting to see it play out.

As Thompson George mentioned above, scaling things down a bit might make it more palatable without losing the personality.

I absolutely love the animated signature at the bottom. Great touch; I'm thinking about stealing that! Not a huge fan of the cursor, and it's definitely the first thing you notice. Perhaps that's good or bad.

      Hey Daniel,

Really love the original, simple aesthetic and some of the bold design decisions (like the jumbo cursor). I'd think about your audience a bit with that because I know some audiences will like that and others wouldn't. I also really like the GIF-based examples in the case studies.

My one major feedback would be to look at the case studies as less of a sales pitch/marketing website and more of a story about how you, as a designer, tackled the projects. What was the context? What were the constraints, business goals, and what metrics define success?

Hope that was helpful. Would love if you took a look at port if you have the time. Also looking for feedback :)
