Beware. If you have tidy styles it will add tons of unwanted stuff to document styles and colors. Make a copy of your document first before you experiment.

Not sure how I feel about the "Craft Manager" in my menu bar.
Sophia Lucero, over 7 years ago
Yeah, how does one close the menu bar app?

With a tightly regimented file this works really well. It'll bubble up any sloppiness in the way you set out your styles, useful for catching inconsistencies.

Yes, I cringed when I tried it out.

This is starting to look amazing. I noticed a couple of bugs:
- If you use Icon fonts like font-awesome or Ionicons then styles will break your design, replacing your icons with ”last-resort”.
- Some line-heights go a bit crazy and you have to re-edit them manually.
I wouldn't use it just now on big projects. Maybe just experiment on small stuff while they fix some issues. Also, it can help you identify all the font styles or colors that are too similar and you should clean up. Overall is starting to look great.
Congrats to the labs team!

Anyone have a direct download link to the update?
Brent Riddell, over 7 years ago
I also had a lot of problems with the link, I ended up using a different email address than I used to download version 1, then i got the email straight away, hope that helps :)

When I click the link in the e-mail they send you it takes me to: https://s3.amazonaws.com/www-assets.invisionapp.com/labs/craft/manager/CraftInstaller.zip

Thanks for this!
Ive used 3 different emails multiple times and didnt receive a link. I hear they are going to run all updates thru the craft manager now so thats good to hear.

Looks promising, seems to leverage the native symbol and style features in sketch but is presented in a more user friendly way :) Hopefully works as easily as it looks: http://vimeo.com/158273059
Not the Clark from Invision, over 7 years ago Just be warned. If you add styles to a large document you might get a load of colours added to your document colors section in sketch. Unfortunately they are not handled great and cannot be removed in bulk from what I can tell. So I downloaded another plugin called sketch pallettes which gives you the ability to clear the document colors again.
Jonas S, over 7 years ago If a text block contains more than one font/size/ etc the plugin seems to generate all those differences as individual text styles. If you then update one of those styles the whole text block changes into that style which could mess up a lot. Probably not Craft fault but make sure you save before trying it out.

This might be my lack of familiarity with the product here, but did anyone else get thrown by the em dash between Craft and Styles? Style is the product by Craft, right?
Joshua Turner, over 7 years ago
Craft is the product from InVision, Styles is an additional feature on that product.

Has anyone experienced the Type part not working in Sketch? It looks like it erased all of my presets and now nothing shows up in that panel.
EDIT: A dev from Invision Labs contacted me and fixed this issue for me!

For those wondering: This one works on Sketch only.
