I was going to reply quite snarkily, "Yes I can" in response to this post, but you nailed my situation perfectly. I have a full-time job and have been trying to get my clothing brand off the ground. However, I also have two freelance clients and a couple side projects that I love working on. AND I have a family, with a new baby on the way.

I came to the conclusion this week that after I complete these client projects that I would concentrate on getting my clothing brand website and product offerings better. Focus is something that I struggle with. If money was no object I'd still have this problem, so it's something I want to get under wraps.

    Thanks for this post.

Yeah—I share that sentiment. We’ve taken on a lot over the years, and generally completed what we set out to. That said, I’ve learned that the promotion often gets lost, as a result. This then gets in the way of getting our thing where we need it to go.

It’s a little like writing a blog article. Most posts only take me 45 minutes to an hour to write. Editing them takes a couple of hours, though. Then, preparing an OG image, posting it to Twitter and other sites, and all that other miscellaneous stuff takes even more time.

Congratulations on the baby! That’s a wonderful time—and it goes by so horribly quickly. My youngest just turned 7, yesterday. I can’t believe how quickly this all happens!
