What an odd choice... A flat bar to represent Colorado, a state primarily known for its mountains?

One of the most appealing identity work I've seen in a while.

Mixed feelings towards it. Initially against it (looks unbalanced), but the supporting imagery and "co - word" campaign were nice.

Instead of a white background behind "co" I'd personally go with a continuation of the image, but with a heavy opacity filter overlaid with "co" being completely transparent.

I'd also give that flat bar some mountainous peaks :P

I'll post a dribbble or imgur later.

I dunno about the "R", as well as a number of other characters in the typeface they developed. That leg sticks out way too far and makes for some awkward spaces when kerning. Not bad overall though.

Some of the supporting imagery is great. Identity works well with the nature photography. Also, Akkurat is awesome.

One of my favorite creative agencies here in Boulder, CO was selected to participate in the rebranding of Colorado. This is their guide to the brand.
