Click-bait fluff. This isn't about advertising, but ecommerce shopping carts. Contrary to the premise of the article, store branded apps/NFC-enabled discounts/shop-able banner ads, etc. are not "disruption" nor are they "the future." They are gimmicks.
Not sure why you'd write such an article when you have little to no understanding of a field.
