    I'm super excited about this! As a user of Siteleaf in the past I'm hopeful about this new direction and where Oak is taking it.

    Can't recommend their products highly enough.

    This sounds pretty damn awesome. I'm a big fan of Jekyll and the only thing stopping me from using it on freelance projects is the lack of UI. This seems to fill that gap perfectly. I've used prose.io in the past, and while it's good it's not perfect.

    If the UI presents a Jekyll site in an easy and comprehendible way then it's already doing a better job.

    question - I'm a longtime Jekyll user and use various parts of it including new things like collections... if I understand siteleaf correctly, I can basically use it as a front-end/admin to my current jekyll setup?

      That's what it looks like to me -- which is great. Having a tool like this is gonna open up static-site generators to a bunch of new people.

      Totally. If you have a Jekyll site already, you'll be able to hook it up to Siteleaf and manage everything through our Admin UI or API. (You can also start from scratch and create a completely new site.)

        Edit - oh maybe I misunderstood, Siteleaf is also a hosting system? So there's no way for me to use this without the hosting component? I have a pretty simple Amazon S3 + CF setup, was just curious about a front-end for writing posts/managing jekyll
