Thanks tons for posting this, it was fun to watch. I definitely agree with the fact that not all CG is bad, it really depends how well it is applied to the context and how well it is executed. Best example that comes to my mind is Game of Thrones and the way they created the landscapes in many of the scenes. I feel that the title is not entirely correct though as it states that CG doesn't suck. I'd go with "Some CG sucks. This is why not all of it does".

Thanks for sharing. really great video and totally agree with the narrator. It really is up to the director / studio to acknowledge appropriate uses of CG cause you can see the laziness when they don't.

Apart from the quality of the CG, it's ultimately up to the director's discretion how far or wild they'll take the CG. Endless possibilities does not necessarily mean better results. That being said: the original Jurassic Park CG was just downright amazing!

As someone who do a lot of 3D I agree with that, people should realize that most movies these days would be impossible to produce without CG

I was amazed by how much CG I see in films without realizing it.

The road scenes from Girl With the Dragon Tattoo where they change the season and/or scenery slightly was really interesting.
