Crazy, but do we really want our graphics to be that good... seems sort of like pandora's box.

This level of realism, not just in the visuals but in the animation and storytelling, is going to be what makes VR really interesting. Suddenly even cookie-cutter franchises like Call of Duty take on a whole other dimension. Luckily by the time this level is actually mainstream I would hope the morals of it have been figured out.

We're mostly desensitised to killing other people in video games, because they're not identifiably other people yet. We don't mind being 'killed' and restarting, because it's just an image on a screen. But when you're in VR is a whole other story. It's much more of a shock to the brain to be 'killed' that way. But maybe we'll become desensitised to that too...

I feel like we will desensitized to that too. We get used to anything after a given amount of time. I totally agree that anything will feel immersive and real and intense with VR and these graphics which sounds cool until the lines of real and fake get too blurred out.

Just crazy to think about all this stuff.
