But, why "like Instagram for Audio"? Can you apply filters to make your voice recordings sound like Darth Vader, Morgan Freeman, or Jony Ive?

    If so, sign me up.

This sounds like Cameron Moll of Authentic Jobs is trying to tackle the challenge presented in Why Audio Never Goes Viral

Sure, sound may not go viral today, but Ohanian is optimistic. “Probably someone here in the audience is going to show us all wrong,” he said, “and a year from now we’re going to look at the Upworthy for audio."

    “So go make it.”

I speak with much greater skill than I write, paint, draw, photograph or film. Just requested an invitation. I hope it takes off.

Trouble with this is the time spent consuming this media is dictated by the creator. You can't scroll quickly through a feed of audio...

Exactly. I'll also need to be in a place where I can listen to audio so not at work or in public which is where I consume IG, FB, Twitter.

The upside of this is that you can't skim through it; you need to give it at least some attention. It's the same with podcasts and audiobooks. You can allow people to change the playback speed, but if the content isn't great they're gone.
