Thanks, everyone!
I've put the source code up on GitHub for anyone who is interested. Pull requests and comments are welcome :)
This is not online anymore but thanks for the code on Github.
You're correct - I've taken down the demo. foodrun.kyledreger.com now points to the GitHub project. Thanks for trying it out!
I did it on my own and now it scrapes the menu from my favorite place :D
Awesome!
This is awesome, thank you!
+1 nice clean and lean, compared to http://shorterorder.com/
This would have been really handy for us a few months ago but we got a little too big to do individual orders for our Thursday company lunch.
It would be cool to see the ability to change an order.
Nice!
This is cool, just sent around to my coworkers!
Thank you, glad you like it!
A small side project that I made to make our company lunch orders less hectic.
I'd love any feedback, particularly that which pertains to:
I tried to keep it simple and straightforward, and I had fun learning some of the subtleties to AWS. Thanks for looking!
This is pretty cool! I would love to see the source and learn from what you created!
In our office, we cut off orders after a certain amount of time, b/c the lunches are scheduled and we need to place the order by a certain time so it can arrive on time.
One thing that came to mind was maybe allowing the creator to stop the timer early and adding export/print functionality. Good work! Simple and useful.
It would be amazing if you can set a custom time i.e. more than 1 hour.
