Pics.io - Turn Google Drive into collaboration tool for design teams (pics.io)

Seems kinda cumbersome, if you use invision for instance, you can also see the versions and you don't have to keep uploading the files, it'll just notice the changes when you save.
Hi. I'm Konstantin from Pics.io.
it'll just notice the changes when you save.
From what we see designers save files very often. More often then they need to show a revision. In Pics.io designer decides when he/she needs to update team. This semi-automatic approach is much better, we think.
Why not, out of all your saved copies, marking as "revision" only the ones that you want to show to your clients?
Marking is a manual action, right? So as dropping file to a browser. That's our model for "mark this as a revision".
That is some really thin Google Drive integration. I expected this to keep an eye on design files I already had in Drive and create revisions out of each save, automatically.
Drive already supports revision history (though not visually).
I'm having trouble seeing the value prop here, as much as I want to (as a small shop that uses Drive and does design)…
Hi Lee. Most people don't like apps that intrude their Google Drive. We develop PICS.IO so it intervines only one folder in user's Google Drive (i.e. Picsio).
Please, drop me a line to konstantin@pics.io. I'd be happy to chat.
