"... but by homeless I mean wealthy and well traveled."
This is well written, but i find the use of the term 'homeless', both as linkbait and to describe a privileged nomad lifestyle, to be in extremely poor taste.
(And I'm pretty sure that any person who was actually homeless would think the same?)
I'm gonna go ahead and assume the gravity of the term "homeless" was lost in translation, as it certainly does not apply to privileged travelers.
Am I the only person who doesn't feel the need to write about themselves like this?
It seems like everywhere is some deep analysis (given sort of as advice) about a decision some person made in their personal life that they believe is now relevant to others and their ability/inspiration to design.
It's well written and pleasant enough (besides the "homeless" term), but I keep asking myself "Why am I reading this?" in all sorts of "lifestyle" articles by (primarily freelance) designers these days.
I don't think that I would ever be that brave. Great to read about, though (the term "homeless" aside).
If the article is aimed at lifestyle and travel aficionados, then the linkbait article is unnecessary, and even offensive.
Though well written, the article contained little content of interest to me.
