I’m honestly only posting this because the visuals are beautiful. Sure it's not awesome that they are DDoS attacks, but still, beautiful visuals.

These aren't just DDoS attacks I don't think.
I read before that they setup honeypots around the world and then just log incoming attacks.
Every second, Norse collects and analyzes live threat intelligence from darknets in hundreds of locations in over 40 countries. The attacks shown are based on a small subset of live flows against the Norse honeypot infrastructure, representing actual worldwide cyber attacks by bad actors. At a glance, one can see which countries are aggressors or targets at the moment, using which type of attacks (services-ports).

Really cool. I saw a massive attack against Saint Louis. Seriously, the whole screen exploded into a radial orange ball aimed at Saint Louis. Awesome visuals, sucks that the US is getting attacked so much.
That would probably be aimed at DNSimple, they suffered a monster of an attack last night.
Just saw an other one going to Saint Louis from China, awesome. Except for the target of course...
Poor USA. Kept my tab opened for 20 minutes and it has been targeted 99% of all the attacks.
So this is entertaining to watch, how do they log it?
I was wondering the same thing, but didn't care to look into answering that question considering the length of my to-do list at the moment :D
This is an onslaught.
It's great. Let's people know to take security more seriously because stuff like this is happening all the time.
Why St. Louis? It seems like that's the majority of where the attacks are going down at the moment.
