I'm pretty sure it would be easy to find something worse on Etsy that is actually still sold on a regular or semi-regular basis.

Startup disease syndrom : tease, launch fast, never work again on the product.
This is why big companies has R&D department : to work, test, iterate, test, etc. before launching the product. Sadly a lot of kickstarter projects are being advertized/sold, lacking a lot of work.
