The use of Angular is great, but yes, it's odd that it's non-responsive. I can;t imagine their target market is that different from the general population. Odd.
With all the boxiness and grid-looking alignments, I was really expecting the site to be responsive. Spoiler : It's not.
I am actually disappointed and I am not even into make-up. But, I feel like ( when I end up going in Sephora for my fiance) that many of the makeup brands put forward very strong branding plays and tightly constructed visuals. This just feels like a missed opportunity. All the photos and products feel too small, despite being mostly white it feels cluttered and details are not polished. For instance, all the hovers just pop in, most things are in stock carousels and the layout feels sluggish. I wouldn't be surprised if this was a Wordpress or Magento template.
On the plus side, some of the hero images are nicely done and I like the smudged swatch style behind the products and on the selector but I wish they were bigger.
