I'm creating a curated platform that lists design/develop-related events/conferences.
What conferences should be in there?

First Last, over 9 years ago Check out SEEK Conference in Dekalb, Illinois.
It's a design conference focusing on design students run by design students. Last year they had Sagmeister and Draplin.
