ONE MORE THING!
Figured you all might enjoy a peek at the interactive style guide: http://harvardlawreview.org/style-guide/
So good. Just shared with a bunch of friends that just graduated law school.
Also, +1 Boston
Beautiful, thoughtful work.
Beautiful, beautiful stuff.
One potential issue: I am not seeing the inline footnotes. For instance, on http://harvardlawreview.org/2014/05/hobby-lobby-corporate-law-and-the-theory-of-the-firm/ I see 1, 2, 3, 4 in the first paragraph, but they just link to the bottom of the page.
Good eyes. There's a lot of archived/legacy stuff that doesn't support the new format, so there's a fallback for that. As they update the site and publish more new content you should see the interactive footnotes roll out.
Out of curiosity, was there any effort to make the new functionality apply retroactively to legacy footnotes or is the new markup too specialized for that?
Lovely work and fantastic write up!
Beautiful work! Although the portfolio entry background + the first HLR gif background a few slides in confused me for a second since they're the same.
Maybe it's just me, but the live site looks completely broken.
EDIT: Now working fine.
Beautiful work. What CMS are you using?
Glad you like it! We are using Wordpress + Timber
