Hey guys! Happy to answer any questions y'all have about Tweak :)
Will it be a universal app, for iPhone and iPad?
And will I be able to prototype for the iPhone on and iPad, or will it only be for prototyping iPhone apps on the iPhone, and iPad apps on the iPad?
I didn't see this covered in any of your dribbble comments.
So short term, it's iPad only, for iPhone apps. Longer term (and what would be viable), there would be an integrated iPhone viewer app, so you make/edit prototypes on iPad but can view them at scale, live on your iPhone. Unclear right now how this would handle iPad prototypes, unfortunately (not a big focus right now for me).
There's no OS X app or web app? Seems odd to do work on an iPad, but if it works, i could definitely see sitting on the lawn and cranking out interaction prototypes =]
Would really love to try this out. Been exploring better ways to communicate interaction concepts to clients, and this really looks intuitive and best of all.. fast.
I want to try this so badly!
Saw this at ValioCon. Looks like an incredible tool; can't wait for the release.
Was he there doing a demo? Did you get to see more than what's in the videos?
He talked us through the videos. If I remember correctly, the actual demo wasn't stable enough for him to show us the full range of what he wanted.
I am trying to watch the video but it says "Unable to preview this item". Using Safari.
I am so put off by this every time I see it. Likely a bandwidth argument, but still totally not Dropbox.
Is there any more info? Looks interesting.

Very cool, thanks.
This looks really cool, only thing is how easy its going to be to replicate the animations in Objective-C (and now Swift).
As far as I know, the code it generates is written in Objective-C, so it's ready to ship.
This looks like its going to be really useful. One thing I want to know is if it will have a presentation view or a recorder to be able to show clients?
Looks superb, can't wait to try it out! :D
is it a more advanced version of this? https://github.com/facebook/tweaks
nevermind. different thing. looks amazing tho
That was confusing for me at first too.
Sorry for the confusion; Tweak was actually up before Facebook announced Tweaks, but we know how they feel about names :) Tweaks is a very different thing (but also immensely useful).
Looks really interesting. I'd be willing to try a demo trial. Hopefully this is not locked into the cloud and that it functions like an app on my desktop.
considering it's made by someone at dropbox, i wouldn't be surprised if its dropbox integration =]
Then its a non-starter for me. Where I work, we work locally on our drives because InfoSec policies prevents us from working/storing our workfiles in the external cloud.
yea, as nice as DB integration is, i don't think it should be a requirement.
dont quote me on it, that statement was pure speculation based on where he works.
Hey Brendan,
Right now it only has Dropbox integration, but I'm open to more generalized ways of getting files/images in to Tweak in the future. Dropbox definitely strikes the easiest implementation/most users and upside balance right now.
Dropbox is pretty nice and easy for syncing, but for people that have conflicting privacy policies at their company, an alternative would really help broaden your user base.
Maybe something like ability to load the files from a private server instead of a dropbox account?
Not exactly sure what I'm looking at here.
Yea, kind of confusing without context.
