I've been playing with this for the past two weeks and it's pretty amazing.
Do you know if they're going to be releasing any Pop plugins for Origami?
Even without it, I'm insanely excited.
I'm not sure, that's a question for someone at Facebook. @Kimon was nice enough to let me in to beta test the framework and from what I've seen from the development side, this library fills in a pretty important gap.
Yup.. it would really be phenomenal to be able to translate quartz comps directly to xcode!
If designer and developer could speak the same language but have specialized tools, workflows everywhere would be improved =]
Facebook did announce that theyre updating Origami to match supposedly. (http://tapity.com/thank-you-facebook/) but i cant find the official announcement.
At 36:51 during the Building Paper event , Kimon mentions Pop/Origami integration. Tho, even after watching, I'm uncertain as to if Pop currently accepts Origami values or if integration will be coming in an update, lol. :/
AHA i was looking for that, scrubbing through the video. thanks.
My guess is its a future update. The patches in Origami don't quite equate to the POP framework from what i can see.
Thanks for confirming.
They come close, but 100% parity and some easy way to export the data would be perfect!
It looks good. Now social media like Facebook helps to strengthen the brand, attract the attention of new customers and even make more sales. I also read the post https://www.maiwriter.com/facebook-post-generator which talks about new AI-based tools to make posts more efficient
Pop is pretty damn impressive. If anyone's interested I wrote a post on getting it going with RubyMotion.

It seems to be very flexible and really easy to tweak each animation.
