The cards themselves are beautiful. The guy reminds me of Jony Ive :p

I do play a lot of cards and there's a few things that are not good about these cards if you actually want to use them for something like poker.

• The suits should not be too harmonious because it takes you more effort to distinguish them.
• The spades should have a stem, for example.
• The cards should have a "body" and not just corners. Especially when using community cards (such as poker) you need to see everything at a glance. Older players with bad eyesight are always double checking the cards on the table
• The back / front should be easily distinguishable. The front and back are now white, and you do not want to have a misdeal because halfway through the deck there's a card with the face up.

I would've bought a box anyway, but the non-us shipping of 13usd would make a single pack ±30usd. A bit too much for me.
