I've been playing with it for a while now, there are hundreds of small improvements across the board, not to mention symbols. Also dig the improved UI and new icon. Super excited for the release!

Man, I'm so excited for this! I've been using Sketch for the last couple of projects now and I love it. I can't wait to see what they've added to Sketch 3. Hopefully, it's a free upgrade since I bought it few months ago but not a deal breaker.

I hope its a free upgrade cause i'm poor :P But yeah I've started actually designing and mocking things up in sketch instead of doing everything in the browser and it has actually managed to save me time... I call that impressive.

I wouldn't be surprised if it's not a free upgrade, and I wouldn't blame them.

The App store (in particularly the iOS App store) has conditioned us to expect cheaper and cheaper software, and free updates on top of that.

But it's hard to maintain a business with cheaper price points and the expectation around free upgrades.

Maybe they'll offer discounts or upgrades to recent customers. I bought Sketch 2 at launch and have had a couple years of great use from it, so I'm happy to pay up again for Sketch 3.

I bet it will be new paid version it's 3.0, but like Brett writes it passed few year form launch, if I recall right 3 and Sketch cost only 40euro. If you don't have money you can work on version 2 and pay later to get 3 and be honest, Sketch and Pixelmator are way more cheapper than PS but a lot more productive (for me at least).

I'm eager to try it out now, along with all the bug fixes that plagued version 2.

Great, but what about a better way to manage color swatches and sync settings for people that have both work and home machines?

Nice. With Symbols I will be able to improve the UI Kit for Android I am doing.
