Looks nice. It would be cool if you could keep the template in a separate tag and reference its ID with Dug so you don't have to do all that nasty escaping.
Ryan, POIFECT. I'll code that in in the next release!
I second this, looking forward to this being implemented.
Already updated!
Thanks! You da best.
Beautiful illustration. I was hiding under your porch because I love you.
Great work. Is this in a GitHub repo somewhere?
Here it is, it would be great to have some of this post as the README!
Gold! You even describe my feelings better than I do
Any chance you could add some Behance support? :)
Rogie, this looks crazy helpful for prototyping. Is it possible to use it with a local JSON file or a backend-as-a-service database like Firebase?
This is just what I was looking for, thank you so much.
Awesome work. Couldn't you run into a rate-limiting problem with some sites, like Twitter, for example?
Luke, Twitter doesn't support JSONP anymore — also, Dug.js has client-side caching built in.
This is a nice idea and implementation - good work! Only suggestion would be to make the template param a little more flexible. Pointing it to an id it could pull the template text, passing it a precompiled function, it could just render, etc. Certainly not a critical feature, but would be cool!
Agreed, Jeff! Thanks for sharing your thoughts.
Wanted to try out how it would look like to use a template like in Handlebars. Turned out it was pretty simple. http://jsfiddle.net/Ha348/
Jose, using '#template-id' as a CSS selector instead of a template now pulls content from a DOM element's innerHTML :D
Sweet, thanks!
Rogie you nailed it with this. Simplicity at its finest.
Awesome! Been waiting for something like this to be released. :)
Always wanted something like this. Thanks, Rogie!
This is great. I love the simplicity of it's implementation. Nice work, man!
Thanks Ryan!
