I got bored when it hadn't fully loaded after almost 2 mins, 301 HTTP requests and 33.5MB transferred.

Scrolling — oh god yes. This site is like a movie that you can only manually scroll through, and also gets stuck every 10 frames.

The problem is that the scrolling is just entirely unnecessary. It adds absolutely nothing to this piece. It doesn't make the presentation funner, it doesn't actively encourage interactivity, it's a waste of user effort.

It would have been much better to simply make this an animation or a static landing page.

I don't actually mind the scrolling in this case.

The presentation is great and the fighting game at the end was quite nice. It felt a little flat design leaning at first but overall I think it makes a great point.

Without being too cynical about the scrolling, this is awesome and highly creative. The story is great! The content is awesome, and so is the execution. Very well done.

I will echo the general sentiment regarding the scrolling. It seems to me like the scrolling should be eliminated and the animations/transitions should just play on load. It didn't add anything positive to my experience.

That said, the content here is really, really cool. I love stuff like this. Scrolling aside, this is a wonderful example of how versatile the web really is. It's easy to forget that with so many sites look and feel the same.
