I was wondering about all the kinds of tools you use for your reseach, since covid all the research I was a part has to be conducted remotely. I have personal experience with Optimal Workshop, UXtweak and HotJar. Are there any tools you would recommend?
I created this document awhile ago for a client, to give them a full idea of what tools are out there (and the purpose of those tools). There are far too many tools for me to have tried them all — but personally I've used VWO, Inspectlet, Optimal Workshop, Hotjar, UserInterviews, CrazyEgg, Amplitude, Maze, SurveyMonkey, and AppCues Paper Doc
Thank you for the doc you shared! It is a great resource. I am just wondering - do you update it from time to time? I recently came across UXtweak and I am currently testing it out.Have you come across it?
I have not run across that. I'll look into it and add it.

PlaybookUX.com and UserTesting.com. Have heard good things about AYTM but have yet to try it for a project.
What would you say: Lookback, UserZoom, or UserTesting, or something else?
