I've been using system fonts as often as possible lately.

Many clients have some set branding around typographic choices. If so, I go for a dual approach to load a branded font for use with Headlines and other elements. And use the system font stack for body copy and such.

This has worked well for sites built on WordPress and Shopify where your performance and optimization can have limitations and removing an extra font-family from loading can save one hundred to multiple hundred kilobytes.

I don't mind sharing my agencies site in this case: Spacetime

Awesome, never tried dual approach though. Yeah, for CMSs loading time is a great factor but I use for native typography experience and love it haha. Nice and clean implement on your site, like this.
