The industry push for trying to get designers to learn react has nothing to with helping designers work better and all to do with getting designers to do the grunt work the engineers whinge about and because designers are often paid less.

Nothing wrong with wanting to learn to code but just make sure you actually demand a higher salary if you do provide this stuff, don't just become a markup monkey for the engineering team to offload boring work onto.

Just shipped a redesign of the React for Design landing page.

Instead of creating static marketing assets I used react to create interactive lesson examples.
