I'd say by looking the design concepts on Instagram, Behance, Pinterest etc... this has been going on for a long time. These people don't seem to care about technical or business restrictions in their designs. In one hand it's a good thing (we get new "radical" ideas) but often they don't lead to anything because the concepts are "designer's dreams" without any correlation in to the real world. I prefer less radical ideas that still challenges the traditional approaches and solutions but in the end gets implemented. That is hand-on progress!

I was just thinking about this the other day! It'd be amazing to see different and/or radical approached to solutions, even if those approaches never make it live.
