Looks great, sorely needed, but steep pricing! 1/3 the price of Figma itself!

Hi Taylor, I am the maker of the plugin. Curious to hear how much you would pay for it.

Hi there! I would probably pay $5 for a one-time license for something like this. Reasons:

        • Already paying for Figma
        • All other productivity tools already have spellcheck, so it's a sort of silly thing to pay for (though I get it, you have created something of value!)

Thank you. I see where you are coming from but $5 would not work for me, besides my time spent on it, the spell checker runs on a server which I need to pay a monthly subscription for :(

I will consider one time payments like when I eliminate the need for the server.

      100% this.

All of my copy goes through marketing before it goes to production, so my mistakes never make it through. So this tool is only a nice to have currently.

Along with the point that most text editing tools have the feature makes me just want Figma to bake it in natively.

The plugin itself is no doubt extremely useful. But another reason I wanted to share that, is how creatively they made the product landing page.

I’m not sure whether this complies well with Figma brand guidelines and how would they scale it when Sketch plugin arrives, for example. Nevertheless, it’s an interesting approach for designing landing for Figma plugin.
