I was bleh about Pentagram's work on Slack and Yahoo! but this is an excellent update. Shows you don't have to redesign for the sake of it. Respect the past, keep what works, and shape it for today's tastes.
gotta say...i'm a fan of this. I think they nailed the brief.
Love a good logo tear down!
But this is a nice evolution. Looks like they extended the brand with some nice secondary elements without heavily altering the primary logo mark.
Love it. I was a bit put off by the shade of orange at first but it quickly grew on me once I saw the executions.
Love the "fp" icon version.
That swing though hahah
Great example of refining something that's already good vs. trying to reinvent it. Very nice!
Really like the update! The identity presentation video is fun to watch as well.
Looks very fun!
