What tools do you use to manage your freelance finances?

I was wondering if you guys have any tipps or tricks how to manage your cash-flow / invoicing / taxes etc when you freelance? Is there this super fancy nice all-in-one cloud-based solution?

    I've always used Harvest for my invoicing. It's not super fancy, but it does all of the common things really well.

    From a management perspective, I've always had a business account separate from my main accounts and put all income into the business checking. I automatically deduct the amount I need for taxes into a business savings account every time I receive income. That way, I'm not surprised come tax time.

    I'm not sure how all of that works in Germany, but I imagine it's similar. I used to live in Berlin, btw! Loved it.
