In love with Webflow - Shipped my first product in 2 hours

4 years ago from , Founder @neue.world

Alright, so before we take a hit on alignments and functionalities - I decided to give WebFlow a try and release a small hand-curated job listing platform for India specifically focussed on UI and UX.

I am aware of how web design works so it was really easy for me to get a grip of WebFlow. But I must say - I am quite happy that I can now launch any form of basic website using this service.

Let me know what you think: https://www.designpost.in

I get that the point of it was it to proof that you can quickly make something with webflow, but your site isn't even responsive, but it is aimed at people in India, who rely heavily on mobile phones. Considering that this product is a static site with links on it, nothing more, which is very quickly done in any tool whatsover, I feel like this is exactly the wrong way to make people believe that webflow has any place for professional designers / developers.

      It is responsive.

You do have to refresh so itΕ› not responsive responsive, but it does adapt to screen size when you load it with the required screen (which is what normally happens).

I agree its not mobile responsive but like @Pedro commented - it's indeed mobile ready. The point here was to show how fast you can practically build ideas and ship them. It wasn't to 'showcase' how good it is for professional developer / designers. This was the first concept, and over the next upcoming week I am working to ship more and more features as I learn how to do that.

I appreciate your response but the point was about first attempt and speed.

Easy to make responsive though with another hour or 2 in webflow.
